TV9 Kannada is a 24-hour Kannada language news television channel. It was launched on 22 June 2006. The channel is owned by Sneha Television network. TV9 Kannada has a wide range of programs from hourly news, analysis of major news events and interviews. It gained instant popularity among the masses with the punchline “Merugaina Samajam Kosam”. Later it expanded its network with news channels in Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and Gujarati languages. These channels are broadcast by Associated Broadcasting Company Private Limited of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
